Career Record:  2x D11 Champ, Regional Champ, Medalist

1960 – 112 lbs.:  District Champ, Regional Champ, State Semifinals (16-3-2)

1959 – 105 lbs.:  District Champ, Regional Runner-Up

After sitting behind Malcolm Purdy and Dick DeWalt as a freshman and sophomore, Vincent burst onto the scene as a junior at 105, pinning ten opponents during the regular season, including his first seven matches as a starter.  Vincent rolled to a D11 title with wins over Don Micio (Northampton) and Carl Nelson (Allentown) before pinning John Viglione (Nazareth) in the final.  He was finally stopped in the Northeast Regional final by eventual state runner-up Milford Lewis (Northwest), who reversed and pinned Vincent in the first period.

Vincent opened his senior season with an overtime loss to Gary Poorman (State College) at the Boiling Springs Holiday Tournament before wrestling back to finish third.  Vincent went 10-1-2 during the dual season.  Vincent went unscored upon in the D11 tournament, including a 6-0 win over future NCAA All American at Lehigh Jon Rushatz (Dieruff).  Vincent had a bye to the Northeast Regional final, and punched his ticket to the state final four with a 6-1 win over Jim Bamrick (Shamokin).  At the state tournament, Vincent lost in the semifinals to Richard Hamilton (Upper Darby), 2-1 in overtime, missing out on a shot to stop the immortal Mike Johnson (Lock Haven), who beat Hamilton in the finals for his third of four state titles.
